Identification of Canola Roots Endophytic Bacteria and Analysis of Their Potential as Biofertilizers for Canola Crops with Special Emphasis on Sporulating Bacteria

Canola (Brassica napus L. var. oleracea) is the third most common oil-producing crop worldwide after palm and soybean. cultivation requires use of chemical fertilizers, but amount required can be reduced by applying plant growth-promoting bacteria (PGPB). Among PGPB, endophytic have certain advantages as biofertilizers, canola rarely been studied. In this work, we identified a collection bacterial endophytes isolated from roots using MALDI-TOF MS, technique that still used for identification such bacteria, rrs gene sequencing, methodology commonly to identify endophytes. The results demonstrated some isolates belonged genera Bacillus, Neobacillus, Peribacillus (Pe.), Terribacillus, Paenibacillus (P.) Pseudomonas (Ps.). Inoculation these indicated several them could efficiently promote seedling growth in hydroponic conditions. These were then confirmed microcosm experiment agricultural soil, which thivervalensis, amylolyticus, polymyxa, sp. (Paenibacillus glucanolyticus/Paenibacillus lautus group), simplex (previously Bacillus simplex) shoot under greenhouse them, promising biofertilizers crops they are sporulated rods, an advantageous trait when formulating biofertilizers.
